In accordance with provisions of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Official Gazette of the Federation, Mexico 07-05-2010), the organizing committee (the “committee”) of the 5th Neuroglía Physiology and Pathology Symposium (“the Symposium”) makes the following privacy notice available to you.
The committee is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data. In compliance with legal obligations established by the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private parties, this privacy notice informs the data owners about the information collected from them, as well as the use of such information.
Any user registered on the Symposium website accepts that personal data, as well as email or any other data provided for access to any of the website services, are used for the purpose of efficiently providing requested services, for the accurate identification of the users, for the completion of statistical studies to improve Symposium activities, for management of basic administration tasks, as well as to keep you informed, either by email or other means, of news related to the event.
Your personal data will not be shared with any authority, company, organization, or person other than the committee, and will be used exclusively for the indicated purposes.
The information provided by registered users (name, email address and any other contact information, personal, professional or otherwise) is safeguarded and will not be transferred to third parties. All information relating to personal data is treated with the utmost confidentiality. Only communications strictly necessary for Symposium operations, and the communications and assignments authorized by the user through this Notice of Privacy will occur.
The organizing committee of the Symposium has implemented security measures for protection of personal information, and installed infrastructure to avoid the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or alteration of personal information.
User information, including personal data, may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other government jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. If the user is outside Mexico and decides to provide information, he/she accepts that data, including personal data, will be transferred to Mexico. Submission of information by the user confers acceptance of this Privacy Policy and transfer of information.
At any given time you can revoke your consent for the use or processing of your personal data. In such scenario, you should also consider that the revocation of your consent will imply that we cannot continue to provide the service you requested, thus concluding your relationship with us.
